Gonzo the GREAT

So I finally took a quiz on Facebook that had a lot of meaning. A quiz that truly told me who I was! It was the Which Muppet are you quiz. Anyone that knows me really well knows I LOVE the Muppet's. I have all the Muppet movies, and I am trying to get all the Muppet Show seasons on DVD. (Hint Hint, if you are ever wondering what to get me for a Birthday gift!!!!) I have loved them since I was little and I have to say the show just gets more hilarious as I get older. But all shows like that do because you finally catch all the adult humor that you did not understand as a child. I can't wait to have kids one day and just sit and watch Muppet's with them all the time.

Any way back to the quiz. I took the quiz and it said I was Gonzo the Great, which I was excited about. Gonzo is the odd ball, do his own thing Muppet, just like me. And the explanation that came with the quiz matches me to a tee: "The ultimate performer, you are unique blend of a performance artist, stuntman and daredevil. You are not afraid to try anything once, with wild eyed optimism. Regardless of the outcome of your stunts, you perform them with total dedication, even if your audience might be skeptical. You take pride in the fact that you are unlike anyone else, and approach life with zeal, enjoying the wild ride. What people might not realize about you is that you are very introspective as well, and an intellect of sorts."

I love the part that says, "You take pride in the fact that you are unlike anyone else, and approach life with zeal, enjoying the wild ride." You bet I do!!!!

Now the Swedish Chef is really my FAVORITE character. I just love the way he talks and I love to do impersonations of him. But I do see that I am more like Gonzo. And I do love Muppet's in Space. Gonzo is the main character in that movie and it is SO FUNNY!

Anyway if anyone ever wants to have a Muppet Marathon, you just call me up I will be there fo sho!

I want to be a Toys R Us Kid!

I LOVE TOYS R US! Love the place! I try and go there about once a month. One reason is so I can stay up on all the cool new toys that my nephews and niece are seeing everyday. But really I just like to look and play with what I can. I really don't think I will ever get to old for toys. If I ever have kids they will be lucky because I will be buying toys all the time, but also unlucky because they will have to fight me for them once they get home.

There is not one certain type of toy I like more then the other. I loved action figures growing up always made my brother's G.I. Joe's play with my Barbie's. They had a thing for each other. Still love board games of all types. I do play video games and love those but if I had to pick one board games would so over rule!!!! Legos were very big items in our house, AND micro mini cars were by far my favorite. I had just about the whole collection. Sold them in a garage sale, which was really dumb of me to do. But when you are the age of 8, and you figure out you can make money in a garage sale you put everything out there.

My dream job in life would be a toy tester. You know like Tom Hanks was in Big.

Where his main job was to play with the toys and then tell people what he thought. I have been looking for that job most of my life. I know it is out there. If anyone knows about it let me know so I can apply. I am very willing to move anywhere for that job.

Yep I will FOREVER be a Toys R Us KID!!!!!

GOING QUACKERS!!!!

When I was a little kid one of my favorite records, yes I said records LOVE THOSE, to listen to was the Walt Disney Going Quackers record. It had all the dumb songs that every young child should learn and sing non-stop in the car to bother the parents!!!

Lucky for me and my parents we got my mom a new record player/cd player/cassette player/radio thing for mother's day. So we busted out the out records and I found GOING QUACKERS!!!!! And listened to it over and over. IT WAS GREAT!

My favorite song on this record, you can download this record from Itunes, which I will be doing so I can listen to it in the car. But the best song to me number 6,m Harris the Bullfrog. When I was little this song just made me laugh, I never really listened to all the lyrics. Who really does that at the age of 3 and 4. I just like to run around the room singing, "He went Ribbit Ribbit HIC all the time, time, time." That made me laugh. Now 20 something years later, I am not good with math so if you really need to know the exact number figure it out yourself. But a number of years later I finally listened to all the lyrics and I discovered the reason he went Ribbit Ribbit Hic all the time was because Harris was a drinking bullfrog! It says right in there first few lines that he drinks beer. Now a days parents would FREAK out if their kid was listening to songs like that. Not me my kid will be hearing that CD one day, and we will be running around say Ribbit Ribbit Hic, Ribbit Ribbit Hic all the time time time!!!!!!!

Dancing in Wal-Mart

I don't know what it is but going to Wal-mart always makes me want to sing and dance!! I love when I find a good deal on something I do a little Irish jig. But really it does not matter if I find a good deal or not, it is like with every new aisle comes a new song to my head. And a new dance move that looks really bad because I can not dance at all. I am sure people thing I am one crazy shopper but I don't care at all. I like to say my life is a musical, so let us all sing and DANCE! So next time you are out and about at a wal-mart look for the crazy red head dancing down the aisle.

In other random news today UCLA researchers create world's smallest light bulb.
That my friends has nothing to do with me, but maybe one day I will need the world's smallest light bulb to go into my world's smallest flashlight. And when that day comes I am happy to know there will be a bulb waiting for me.

Rising Gas....

With gas prices going up and down everyday I wanted to put my 2 cents in about gas.

I have a gas problem! I am not ashamed to say that. I love the Beano, the gas-x all those wonderful pills that help with those gas bubbles in my tummy. And if you need a good company to buy stock in, I would look into these. Because I will keep them in business for sure. Sometimes I can just rub my tummy and that helps pop the bubbles, at least in my head they do. Who know?!?!?!

BUT I have no where the gas problem my dog Zibby has. This is Zibby, Zbikowski Pete Reeves is his full name.
He was named after a Notre Dame Football player from a couple of years back. And Pete was his name out at the Haven where I got him from.
Any way back to his gas problem. It does not matter what I feed him, when he gets good and relaxed he just lets it all go! Most the time they are silent and deadly but every once in a while he will rip a loud one. And then he looks at me like the sound came out of me.
I love Zibby, his gas and all. He will be two on May 16th and this past year with him has been so much fun. I love coming home everyday because he is so happy to see me. He does not have a tail so his whole bottom shakes/wags when he gets excited and it just makes me laugh.
Well that is all for today, but again I would like to leave you all with something to really ponder about: Have you ever thought how many of your dollar bills have been in a strippers g-string?

Welcome to My WORLD!!!!

A blog.....a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video.

OH a blog, why should I not have one?!?!?! Everyone needs something crazy and fun to read during work when they don't want to be working. Facebook can only take up some much of your workday. (Note...in 10 years when I am looking over all my old blogs if facebook is still around all I will be able to say is WOW)

I did blog for a while on xanga, which was 5 years ago and I can say it is still around but no one uses it. AND I think I had some pretty good stuff on there. So for the first few post I might just pull from there to keep everyone reading. Also in the past I have made fun of blogging a great deal. Calling it the stay at home mom thing to do. HEE HEE HEE, my bad, you know I love all you stay at home moms!!!!

But really this should be good a place to come for a quick laugh. I am this crazy 30 year old kid, yes I did say kid. I enjoy life in a different way then most. I can't really put that way into words but maybe after you read a couple of my post then you can help me explain it. And because of that different way of enjoying my life I do have many a good stories to tell. Between my cartoon dreams, my head injuries, my many wonderful friends and family, and my great dog named Zibby, there is a lot to keep everyone coming back for more. I hope to not use this to share my feelings or preach to anyone or as a place to go off about my day. Rather I hope to use this blog to show people the joy of life and all they can do out there if they just relax a little and live like we did when we were young.

So on this day in 2009 when the fear of swine flu is amongst us, I just want to close with this. Miss Piggy is a diva, best believe her, you see her, she getting paid!!!!!
